This project will complete phase two of the Lateral G pipeline. The project replaces an open ditch channel with a closed pipeline to improve the efficiency of water delivery to approximately 1,300 acres. Replacing the open ditch will eliminate seepage and evaporation and will reduce excess spill to conserve a significant amount of water.
The Southwest Irrigation District project is complete.
Initial estimate: $1,350,000.
