Overland flood watch issued for southwestern Manitoba starting Wednesday

Residents in southwestern Manitoba are being warned to brace for overland flooding, as heavy rainfall is expected to hit the area between Wednesday and Friday. Buffalo Pound outage may affect Regina drinking water

The city says that in order to support the planned 16-hour shutdown at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant (BPWTP), and minimize any water disruptions to customers, the City of Regina’s water reservoirs will be at full capacity. 1,800-year-old Roman Water Pipe Made from Hollow Tree Trunks Found Under a Street in Belgium

Under the streets of a Belgian city center, an Imperial Roman drainage pipe section made from several hollowed-out tree trunks was recently discovered during excavation work.
