The news is distributed weekly on Mondays via a collated email and Monday to Friday via WaterPortal social media (X was Twitter). Please note that news will not be distributed on Holiday Mondays and will be released the following Tuesday.

Scientists use math to help people understand how unusual a severe flood is and how to compare the intensity of one flood to another. Another concept scientists use is how frequently an event of a certain intensity is expected. BC funds replacement of flood-damaged dikes in Merritt

City of North Bay exploring options to remove forever chemicals from drinking water

Alberta allocates CAD 19 million to protect homes and businesses from floods and drought
