Precipitation is a major component of the hydrologic cycle, and is responsible for depositing most of the fresh water on the planet. These reports contain summaries of current Alberta snowpack, precipitation, river flows, reservoir storage and soil moisture and their impacts on potential runoff in two areas, the plains and the mountains.
