Follow the Drop – Deep Well Disposal
Deep Well Disposal
You are part of a highly contaminated industry waste stream from a food processing plant. Highly contaminated waste cannot be released back to the river. As such, you are being disposed of in a deep underground well so that you cannot impact the quality of the other water in the Watershed.
Deep well disposal avoids negative impacts on the watershed by placing highly contaminated water in a layer underground which is hydrogeological separated from other groundwater and from the surface water.
Definition
Hydrogeological separation: Water cannot move through rocks underground and mix with other groundwater sources.
Where next?
Because you are being sent far underground where you cannot move, you have permanently left the Bow River Watershed and your only move is to start the game over.
