Innovation purifies wastewater into drinking water within an hour

A new innovation is able to turn wastewater into drinking water in an hour. A California water facility is using a three-step purification process that can produce 130 million gallons of treated sewage water in a day that can supply the needs of a million people. Through microfiltration, reverse osmosis, and ultraviolet light with hydrogen peroxide, the process is said to produce water more pure than tap water.   Click here to read the story.
