Water Availability Townhall in Lethbridge (Alberta)

January 8, 2025 @ 6:15 pm

Free

Registration is required via the event website below.

The Government of Alberta is inviting Albertans to share their thoughts on opportunities or barriers that can be addressed to enhance the water management system in Alberta and make more water available to use for years to come.

Population growth, economic growth, and water variability are challenging the water management system in Alberta. New or updated policy and regulatory tools could be used to increase water availability for Albertans and optimize the water management system to better address these issues while continuing to protect the aquatic environment.

This townhall will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about this engagement and connect with your local community to share ideas around opportunities and barriers within the water management system in Alberta.

To provide feedback via our online survey and ideas boards, visit the water availability engagement webpage.
